It maybe status quo next month, taking April and May averages. But if the Ksh continues taking a beating we are likely to see a further increase. Historically, May usually offer the least prices so no one should expect any better pump prices going forward!

@GordonGekko - I will recommend that KK stops giving lunch. Why waste money on lunch when KK can pay a higher dividend or use the cash it saves to pay down debt!

I assume you're talking about lunch at the AGM? Or is it lunch to staff?
I'm sure only 100-300 people attend the AGM and I'm sure the attending owners of the company (shareholders) will not agree with you. I don't think this cost constitutes to a big amount. Don't forget that others if not most have travelled from far and this is an African gesture.
"Lunch" for shareholders should be eliminated since the benefits neither the firm nor the other shareholders who cannot attend. As for 'gestures' that is nonsense... It's recommended but NOT compulsory to attend. And the questions should be about the firm not the lunch it provides. Look at Safaricom which clarified that lunch is NOT on the menu at its AGMs. And it has worked out well for them.

I can guarantee you that if each shareholder [not just those who attend] was asked whether to pay for lunch for the attendees... most would say NO. I would & I try to attend these AGMs.

I agree with you but let's face it, most of us don't attend AGM. KK is not Safaricom so why would they want a hostile AGM that will play out negatively even to their future suitors just because of a plate of food? What they need to cut down in my opinion is the Directors perks. AGMs in Kenya are ceremonial PR events.

BBI will solve it

How do hostile minority shareholders affect the opinion of future suitors? As is, most suitors want to buy out the minority shareholders and couldn't be bothered.

Access, CMC, etc... the ones who matter are those who can cumulatively provide the 50%, 75% then 90% of the shares... For KK, that is first & foremost biwott & family.

Access - It was the Somens & the rest of the top 20 shareholders.
CMC - Ndungu, Kibe, Mobicom, Muthoka & Andy [Add Njonjo & Kiereini]
Rea - Robinows + the others in the top 20

With much behind us what would be the fair value if Puma came back for the girl -KK again? The Girl is showing maturity to and is saying she is now mature enough to move on. If not PUMA someone is who is will to walk her down the business line.
But I had that still Puma has not remove or taken the engagement ring. We will see what is happening soon when the girl adopt her new clothes and moves up to 13 Kshs and pointing to 17 Kshs. Is 21 to 27 a fair value. Would China try to do more business with Kenya in the oil industry noting that they have oil companies in Sundan, Angola and even may want to face the African retail business to set proper foot?
Ohana said he is still recieving letters from proponents for the girl!

Its their new strategy, operate in the high margin segment, a strategy that was adopted after price controls. Quality over quantity.

Ohana unlike Segman is a back office fellow who keep secrets and only releases information at the correct time. This behaviour can lead to surprises.
The one time Active Segman could tells us even when KK bought a sinle gas station, tell us what to expect before the outcomes etc. Who is smarter now is the one who will make profit when Ohana release any good actual proceedings with time.
Who is dating KK?
