The CMA has no idea what it is doing. And that does not surprise me. Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

2nd lawsuit checks in as the bidders square each other - http://www.businessdaily...4/-/aapj7l/-/index.html
Just like Puma - kk no deal, can anyone smell it... The squaring should be in the market, not court rooms. $15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

For the minority in RV it is like being served a good meal then watching it go cold, then stale. Life is short. Live passionately.

The are only good when concluded quickly, otherwise time value of money is lost The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself

The CMA should let shares continue trading while the 'Takeover' is on-going. Why should shareholders be stuck with illiquid shares while the elephants fight? Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

As long as CMA and comopany issue a warning to shareholders, let the share trade. Very unfair a shareholder gets locked in then deal collapses!!! After Vania lost the court case two elephants are left in the fight - http://www.businessdaily.../-/15n5asu/-/index.html
Interesting to note that SIB and AIB value REA between 101 and 162/share!! Fantastic Now why would CMA not let the market set the price? Anyway, now that the price guide has been leaked, who will sell at values below the valuation? Quote:According to the Standard Investment Bank, who were advisors in Vania’s bid, and Afrika Investment Bank’s valuations, Vipingo’s real value stands between Sh101.21 and Sh168.72 a share. And Kirubi saw centum @100. Indeed if centum takeover REA at a discount. $15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

@target1360, AGM was announced for Southern Sun Mayfair Hotel, Parklands Road, Nairobi on Friday 23 May 2014, at 10.30 a.m and should be a real battlefield. Centum was expected pitch a tent uninvited; Robinows should likewise be soliciting votes. Meanwhile Centum is working for a technical knockout on REA Vipingo. They are telling the court, instead of a CMA tribunal, that CMA made a mistake by allowing REAT (+15 optional bid) http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2...fter-bid-challenged.htmlDoes that imply there's is the only valid bid? And Jimnah Mbare and Joe Wanjui are now supporting or lobbying for Centum.

I sold this share and sold too early. sorry to existing shareholders but I'm wishing this bids flop. I buy then never sell, unless another takeover. but I see this takeover happening one way or the other unfortunately/fortunately The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself

The moment the bid price almost doubles, minus an independent valuation of assets, its clear there is a con game. CMA is a mad dog Pesa Nane plans to be shilingi when he grows up.

Why did both Rea & Centum send out buy-out acceptance forms in same cover mail then Rea runs to newspapers to put out a disclaimer! Formal education will make you a living. Self-education will make you a fortune - Jim Rohn.

http://www.businessdailyafrica.com/Corporate-News/Rea-Vipingo-bid-down-to-two-horse-race-after-ruling/-/539550/2385198/-/item/1/-/c60jugz/-/index.htmlchances of centum have increased Centum also challenged the validity of Rea Trading’s offer saying it was in violation of takeover regulations in the Companies Act since it depended on conditions yet to be fulfilled in this case, the potential sale of the land. There are only two emotions in the stock market, fear and hope. The problem is, you hope when you should fear and fear when you should hope

While the 'fight' is happening, the shares should be allowed to trade... Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett
