I want to give my land to an agent to sell it on my behalf? For those who are in land business, how much commission will I need to pay him? What %?

Sell it on wazua.

Commission 0.00%
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

My experience tells me 2.5%of a price you want and anything above your price is his.Its all a matter of agreeing though. The buyer should also give 2.5%

Max you should give is 3%.
Brokers will try testing if you know what you are doing, saying they are many brokers involved in getting a buyer etc; so that they can justify more than 3%. Don't budge!
Some even take 2% for large transactions but standard is 3%.

All the best!

If he sells above your desired price, mwambie what is top will be split 50/50 between you and him. Agree on this in advance.Actually inform him before he even asks you
