Okey Planned Parenthood - anyone can make a typo. Just like politics and religion, this is an emotive issue and I'm not trying to change your mind or insult you for your views even if they differ from mine but let's get a few things straight - I am well aware of the NC eugenics program and similar ones, the Tuskegee airmen tests, the different sentences handed out for crack vs. cocaine, the high number if black men in jail - the list of atrocities is endless. Back to PP though - I am sure you are aware that they provide more than abortion services eg BC pills, tubal ligation (BC of any sort is however a no no according to the docu), testing and treatment of STDs and that even if they closed every single one, people would still have abortions.
At my first job in the US I worked with these two AA ladies.
Our manager was a 40 year old mother of two girls 14 and 16. Knowing the neighborhood she lived in and the situation in the real world, she had both girls on BC (a bit early for my taste but that was their situation). They finished high school, one joined the Navy and the other went to university. Both now have good careers and have moved out of the rough part of town they lived in.
The other was an 18 year old on pregnancy #2. She had the 1st child at 16 (because babies are cute) and dropped out of high school. After she had the 2nd baby she worked for at most a month and since she couldn't afford the childcare, bus fare etc. she quit and started collecting welfare. Whether or not her situation improved I have no idea but the situation was grim even with welfare. If her own mother was at that time in her early 30's what morals, life skills etc do you think she passed down to her as a child? This women are not rare if you care to look and listen.
Why do you think white people despise and want to get rid of us? Being black is part of it but it's also because we keep proving them right with our lack of pride, foresight and over reliance on government services such as the ones you say take care of new mothers. We would rather game the system and have no shame doing so and everyone knows it. Black people seem to love hand-outs be they poor Americans, poor African villagers with 8 kids or our incompetent governments then we complain when we are judged, stereotyped, given GMOs, and generally taken advantage of.
Would I give my teenage daughter BC? No. Would I force her to have an abortion. Definitely not. But her actions would have serious consequences!
