I have a budget of 30k for a phone. Have been a fun of Samsung for a long time But today as I was going thro' the shop I saw Infinix.
Anybody with any info, good or bad about this phone, please share.

Been using it for a while now. My take:
PROS:
1. Very good battery 2500 mAH. It lasts for min two days even while surfing.
2. Good screen size 5 inches
3. Accessories. There is a free flap n screen protector.
4. The OS is almost stock android. You can customize anything. It is also super fast since the OS is light n processor Quad.
5. Doesn't heat up while u surf or play games.
6. Does not hang while calling unlike Samsung. And can make video calls unlike HTC.

CONS:
1. Screen is not cornilla so it can scratch without protector.
2. With almost stock android you need to buy a lot of apps to make feel like samsung. HTC etc. Currently am using the iphone keyboard from Playstore. Stock dialer and keyboard are super ugly.
3. Flap makes phone a lil bulky.

Conclusion:
It is a buy. This is a superb phone. Not as glossy as S5 or M8!!
It costs half those two but does the phone things better ie call, surf n good batt.

Think about the unsung hero - Techno Phantom. With your budget you could get one and a half of them......

I would go with TECNO Phantom A+ anyday anytime. Compared to Infinix, everything else is either the same or the same manufacturer. E.g.
1. CPU both from Taiwanese MediaTek. Difference been one is 1.5 the other 1.2 Quad cores.
2. Screen size, dpi, resolution are both similar
3. GPU is exactly the same
4. RAM similar
5. Internal Memory/storage thereabout
6. Removable storage doesn't matter since its, well, removable.

Infinix is Sagem. They are built in China using Chinese parts but distributed by a French company at European prices.

TECNO are Chinese, building using chinese parts and distributed by a chinese company at chinese prices.

Thanks guys for your responses. Wazua anyday. You have expanded my horizon to Tecno Phantom. I must now check on it and compare the two.

Thinking of heading in that direction. Problem is where to get an unlocked new one locally. Thinking of HTC One Dual SIM
