a name is everything if not why did you retain our old user names why not tell us to create new ones

a name determines the type of members a site can attract which in turn determines the type of depth in a discussion to expect. i believe that the fact Sk had an investment connotation it end up attracting a certain category of bloggers who could relate well even when discussing non-investment issues

However, the quick reply option, smileys etc…is a welcome change. All in all, it will take some time to get used to but I am not opposed to the overall transition...a few adjustments e.g. the color will gradually make this change easier to adapt.

Really guys, this wazua thing is a mess.

I would advice you the next time you think of revamping a website, you should use the services of an SEO expert in your team.

The longer it takes you guys to change what guys are talking about, the more likely you get a competitor who will take you to the cleaners.

I know of 2 already and they are smilling with glee. Please don't think sk becoming redundant is not possible. As microsoft and their internet explorer, they were laughing at firefox.

It is simple what needs to be done:

1. Have one colour scheme for the site

2. Remove the blatant google ads...I would advice you to google "google smart pricing" and "google human reviews"

3. Navigation should be easier than it is...this is where you need an seo expert

4. white burning eyes background is a result of terrible colour coding ...please google "css developer" who should be able to get you a good colour code....by the way nothing bad about the white, just the way the colours have been used

Just do this quickly and we may forget about this waria name...for now

Changes are good, yes. But with beautiful changes come along ugly glitches. The categorization of topics and main themes is very misleading. For example, why does the "MARKET" page have a topic like "Best public primary schools in Nairobi" on it? The previous discussion categories were close-knit and navigation then because less of a struggle. It took me more than 30 minutes to find the latest NSE Prices (and more than 100 clicks). The search functionality, phew! I wanted to read a previous topic that had information I urgently needed and the search page failed to return any results. Yet, I was sure I had put in the correct discussion title. Strange! Currently, it is like a horrid maze, left for users to solve. Make it easy and simple; functionality reigns any day.
Set out to correct the world's wrongs and you will most certainly wind up adding to them.

@wazua, what really generates traffic on ths site? DISCUSSIONS! Why hide them? Why make them so hard to access? Those r the things we should be seeing on the 1st click of a button (homepage). Tell me u aint gonna do sth... Im expecting serious erosion if the navigation nitemare isnt resolved. As 4me, im not rily interested anymore...maybe unless u make a quick remedy.

@ Wazua,

Maybe you could rename the category "club Sk" to "Eskay" or "SK" or...... and while we are here, we will remain Skerians, and you Skenge, etc :)

Pink to green shouldn't be too much to ask for, would it?

imho, that would GREATLY reduce the heartache many are experiencing.

I could be wrong..
