Private conversation with public consequences. And if he felt so strongly about blacks why was he having a black girlfriend? Of course majority of her circle of friends and acquaintances would be black. He has paid a very high price.

private conversation with public consequences? what a lovely precedent that has been set

Thats true. Kenyans have no leg to stand on when talking about racism. Kenya's tribalism is worse. No one is elected on merit of ideas in Kenya.

people need to remember that "your rights end where mine begin" there is no such thing as tribalism in voting as it's a personal choice based on whatever metrics the vote owner deems fit. however tribalism rears it's head when you are hiring for professsional positions i.e. jobs. you need to remember that we don't elect leaders but rather representatives - they are to 'represent' us.

Masukuma lives in dreamland. He actually thinks there is no tribal voting in Kenya. At this rate he will soon claim the earth is flat.

When sponsors are pulling out and players are threatening a boycott, the league has no choice.

@Masukuma, what of the statement 'kura zetu tukiongeza na zao'?
Msigawe kura, piga vile mmekuwa mkipiga kura kama kawaida?
The whole election thing is based on tribalism whichever way you would like to phrase it unless if its semantics you are talking about.
If so, then the statement would have been Kenyans vote along tribal lines and its also a personal choice

election is choice! choice based on whatever metrics the owner choses on the flip side when you tasked with the duty to hire a person based on professional qualifications and you chose anything else - that is wrong! it can be wrong based on gender, race, ethnicity e.t.c.

ethnic voting is there.... i am just saying IT IS NOT WRONG to make the decision to vote based on ethnicity as opposed to other metrics such as height, ideas or freshness of breath. when Kenya gave you an ID at age 18 it determined that you are of age to make decisions for yourself that benefit you.

Reminds me of the human rights adage that 'You have a right to swing your arm, but your right to swing your arm ends where my nose begins.'

@kizee1, your perceived privacy is abstract. With the wide adoption of social media and phone cameras, privacy as we used to know it, is a fallacy!
