Interesting Liberty Holding expect their H1 earning to rise by 30-48%.

I'm liking the KE insurance counters. They're climbing a wall of worry which is good for a bullish ride. Britak got a good hammering last year. It will snap back with the same vigour at some point. If CIC can get hammered to as low as 3/- that would be welcome.

Generally the KE insurance counters are on the buy side for me.

@the deal, kindly send us the lonk on Liberty projeted H1 earnings. Does that change your initial CFCI projected FY results?

@hisah, the insurance are indeed looking juicy, cic is on the way to sub 4, I doubt it will go to 2 bob and some pals had prayed.

I have not been quiet...I just took a break. Management said profitability will improve in H2.

It surely will. What is the book value of this stock? They should give a share split to increase the float.

There is still time for swings but this price swings are surprising me,is it just that dividend or the script?

Its just the daily maximum gain limit holding this share at 22.25 so lets calculate another 10% for Friday if the devil doesnt spoil the rally during the holiday.

Guys, how much more upside does this share have to go? Right now I have a capital gain of 69% and I really do not want to loose it. I think it is time to lock in these gains and wait for it on its way down after the dividends have been paid....some of you bought it at 7 bob and you are not yet satisfied???? NSE-listed insurer Liberty Kenya Holdings could buy out Dar es Salaam-based medical insurance firm Strategis as part of an ongoing restructuring of its Tanzanian business.

The insurer raised its stake in Strategis to 43 per cent last year from 39.18 per cent in 2012, investing about Sh10 million to buy the additional 3.86 per cent equity in a transaction that then valued the Tanzanian company at about Sh260 million.

Liberty says that it is in talks with its co-investors in the company that could see it take a majority stake or acquire all of Strategis’ shares.
