Lest we forget Arsenal won the last trophy playing a 9-1 system. Only D.Bergkamp was upfront and registered one shot on target but still won on penalties.

Brendan Rogers should have known the tactics Mourinho was going to employ and play for a draw. Instead he went for all out attack. The slip by Gerrard changed the entire game, at nil nil maybe things would have changed. I feel nothing for Gerrard when I remember the very deliberate back pass he gave to Drogba to all but guarantee Chelsea the title...nkt! He'll never forgive himself if they don't win this time because they had it in their hands after they beat City. Anyway, this is the beauty of the premier league. The kop will now have to wait for a favour from Everton. If City beat Everton I'm sure they'll win the league, they can't throw it away again.

We were happy to see the old United albeit poor opposition. The surgery in the summer must be done, even if we win our last remaining 3 games.Giggs is not the answer.

Let's see if Arsenal will make 4th spot race even more interesting today....hehe

If Arsenal win today and Mancity beat Everton on Sato, the remaining matches will be dead rubber for the Gunners

Love him or hate him, he know the game better than all of us!

As for the Diving club, looks like the pool was very cold today: no fake reds earned by SAS or Miss Sterling.

Boss you just won the game by packing the bus,
I don't know who will win the league, but I can tell you without any shred of doubt that BORING Chelsea won't win it.

Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Chelsea capitalized on Liverpool's mistakes. Check the second goal. Defense is also a football tactic. Boring or not, didn't the Blues score two goals? Your team betrayed you.

Disappointed with this result...our season is as good as over.It wasn't for lack of trying. Never seen 2 buses parked. Entire 18 yards in the area was blue!

steve G,,,,U'll never slip alone!.......sorry YNWA!

Parking the entire team inside the 18 yard box can be dangerous at times. They can easily concede a penalty.
I support chelsea but i fear this strategy might fail against Athletico madrid.

Ironically, Mourinho accused West Ham of applying 19th century tactics when they packed the bus against the Chavs.

Looking at the EPL now and with sunday's result, i realise the EPL tittle is won way far earlier in the season. Waiting for some luck in the 'run-in' is not cool. We going to have it tough, i guess , playing with confidence the last 2 games, crystal and Newcastle. They just got a blue print from chelsea on how to park 2 buses and a yatch!

well, he went ahead to suggest he would have done the same, soma the comments in full wacha kutoa the parts that suit you

"I told Big Sam [West Ham manager Allardyce] and I repeat my words: they need points and, because they need points, to come here and play the way they did, is it acceptable? Maybe, yes.

"I cannot be too critical, because if I was in his position I don't know if I would do the same. Maybe."
