That driver would need a gas station after every 50km - if they were to drive an outback.

anyway, an outback is not a subaru car whose owners are interested in consumption figures, that interest belongs to the impreza people

A well serviced and maintained impreza gg3 AWD doing 9k/ltr town and 11k/ltr highway is indeed a real concern. No check engine lights, so I presume the engine is Ok. Parts from Ambani, synthetic oil etc.Sad
So it consumes like an outback Sad

@tnai9....I noticed the Impreza consumes more than a 2000cc Legacy driven in Eco mode.I think the weight of the Impreza is too heavy for the 1500cc engine.Mostly does 8Km/Ltr in town & 11.5Km/Ltr on highway...engine parts & fluids original/from Subaru Kenya.

I concur. Impreza's are too heavy for the engine. that's why they consume more than a legacy on average but 10.5-12 is good for an impreza

nope. they didn't say that but kind of compared an outback to a prado implying that they are of similar standards ( they wonder why they would choose a prado over an outback Laughing out loudly ). but these are subaru nuts we are talking about. they even claim that if you buy an outback you need to be the type with no cares for fuel - you might think they are talking of a 4 liter plus car. they live in their own world where they want to say about their cars what the owners of bmws, benzes etc say about their cars(and have to use toyotas to show how great subarus are). wonder what they would be saying if their first cars (nay, their current cars) were bmws, benzes or audis.

Torn between the 2007 legacy b-sport wagon and the 2007 outback, the legacy is sexy and the outback is powerful, damn hard choices.

go for outback 2007,and if u want to have some fun ,check the one with trip-tronic, u won't regret.

i have not seen any commnent on consumption, only on looks.....

don't use subaru and consumption in the same statement, if interested in consumption, stick to #teamtoyos and mazda,

but its not that bad, averages between 8km/l in town to 11km/l on highway, which is fair for a subaru.

settled for the 2007 outback and so far so good, consumption is around 8-12 kpl, very fast car, very comfortable, spacious too, and serviced at auto-marine in Nyali, in short am happysmile smile
