So, at today's VWAP of 4.55/-,THE GEMS PIONEER is trading at a PER of 91?

So, you are telling me that at an acceptable PER of 30, the stock should be priced at 1.50/-.

The problem seems to be the 'poison pill' non-controlling interest. Without these the P/E would be a more colourful 22.8, still exorbitant, but not outrageous.

Is this non-controlling interest equivalent to hidden agendas by some members of Chamas!!! A deeper look at the balance sheet and cash flow statement makes the company appear insolvent.

The shareholders have contributed 94% of the capital but they take home only 24% of the profit

The Jambazi~s (non-controling interest) contributes 6% of the capital but they take home the lions share of profit, 76%!!!

#Sad for the shareholders here. Wapi shareholder @guru267?

There is just no way to sugar coat these results. They are terrible. But what's worse, the listing statement and the half year results were basically a fraud.

I bought some shares for my speculative portfolio when the share slipped below 5, but to be honest my analysis was based on the misrepresentations made by mgt.

Well, tomorrow I expect things to get really ugly!!!

I feel you mwanahisa . Some of us are still smile holding mumias at an average of 14.50 bob . Soon Home Africa will be least priced @nse .Anything above 2bob as Muchir says is a Con but <2sh I will join . Apart from 'wenyewe' getting cash through listing , shareholders have LOST.

I'll not sell. I'll be using it as an example when cautioning others against such.
