Kenyans are such hypocrites. They are now "very saddened" by the events in SS, while they are yet to resolve their own PEV issue where they killed 1300 of their fellow citizens in the most horrible ways. ... ..including burning people alive.

Do Kenyans even have the moral authority to be sad when they took part and cheered the PEV? How different are those images from the ones that were coming from eldoret, naivasha, kisumu, nandi hills etc? Maybe the only difference is that there are no poisoned arrows sticking from their bodies, and are not burnt which means that the SS are less savage than kenyans.

Aren't you the same people who have been demonising the PEV victims who are currently testifying at the Hague. Didn't Baba intervene to have all his supporters who were arrested for taking part in the killings released. Didn't Baba justify the burning of innocent women and children on BBC? That is the hypocrisy that am talking about.

These sudanese nywele ngumus will not even enjoy their oil proceeds? By the time the guns go silent, none of them will be alive to enjoy. Foreigners will be the beneficiaries.

Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly blame game kama kawaida!! We can solve African problems within and not allow foreign control....it can be a slow process, but Rwanda is surely heading in the right direction....In Kenya, all a mzungu needs to do is pick out a Kiraitoo, pay him huge sums of money and your oil is +90% owned by foreigners, then instability is created for them to get cheap oil....

We don't have to have 'moral authority' to be sad! sadness is not something that is granted by external forces - it's an emotion and we have it! are you not sad when you see those photos? one may argue that we don't have 'moral authority' to lecture SS because of PEV and he/she may have some moral high ground and backing to make such a claim but having said that human loss is tragic! what happened in kenya in 2007-2008 was tragic! I have not heard anyone talk badly about the witness who was a victim at the hague - some people may have attempted to expose her but no one attacked her. the people being attacked are the other witnesses - to me that is fair play. all said and done just because we are in the process of full resolving our issues does not mean we should never utter a word when we see similar injustice anywhere else! We technically fixed the political cause of our conflict by nusu-mkate and constitution e.t.c. we still have other issues to sort out but that does not put us at the same level with SS.

Amasukuma. The ways you are saying we should change, aren't they stupid?

If a culture is "primitive", then education and enlightenment changes that. The "primitiveness" is dealt with.

What AU. Even the AU doesn't know the AU exists. The only people who think it exists are those that think the AU means getting away from ICC.

Those fellows will kill each other while their bosses will be at a joint at Hurlingham looking at the long legs of some yellow yellow Ethiopians.

The AU.....

I recognise the fact that Uhuru has sent some guys from our army to sort these guys out. But in his position as EA chair, he should go beyond issuing a statement and showing more leadership. He rallied Africa against ICC, he should be busier rallying the world against this genocide. He should come out strongly and show leadership. He should call UN, EU, AU and let the whole world look at these guys. But he shud start by making it clear to those SS leaders can't afford to propagate war in their country n have them n their families live in Nairobi.

@Washiku, the 300+ KDF is part of the UN Mission to South Sudan ( UNMISS)to be based at the Kenyan Camp in Wau, WbEG state, which is part of the civilian protection mandate. The current genocide is still ongoing and only Museveni has sent active combatants who are fighting alongside the SPLA-Government forces. Literally, UPDF is the one keeping Salva Kiir in power.

BTW approx 70% of the national army has defected and the government side is outnumbered in terms of ground troops but has the advantage on weaponry. The opposition also has the advantage of terrain esp this time round due to the rains making government forces unable to move.

If AU/IGAD do not send ground troops VERY soon, the levels of massacre soon to be witnessed will forever be a scar on the collective conscience of humankind.
