Kudos to her! My prayer is that she inspires our women to be comfortable in their own skins and with their own hair... if she could ignite this cultural shift in just how we africans view our assets and define our identity then she could be the most important person Africans have had in recent times.
secondly, I have always wondered! did the person who was 'most' beautiful in 2013 suddenly become uglier or did lupita become more beautiful than she was in 'Shuga'

The editors of that magazine need to have their eye sight checked if they voted Lupita as the most beautiful. They should also come to Nairobi to see what beautiful women are supposed to look like.

you see ngongoz that see things based on western standards. nywele mrefu inaanguka! mapua ndogo ndogo, thin lips. Did anyone ever see the 'Twilight zone 'Eye of the Beholder'? I saw the series done by forest whitaker!

apana boss. kila nyani na starehe yake. hata wakinyoa kama lupita, for me Gabriel 1, Kerry 2 Lupita hapo 3....by the way lupita has the thinnest lips in those 3.
