Equity trying to counter safaricom dominance in mobile cash transactions and transfer.
Very soon it will be cheaper to send money via equity platform than by mpesa. Watch.....

Now that equity has its own teleco, the game changes and safcom needs equity more than equity would need safcom.

Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Mobi money is a new global trend. In KE it is still an infant at the econ level. There is a lot of headroom for growth for whoever comes in. Maybe in 2 decades can the market plateau or peak some.

The expected price slash will be a welcome boost as more players come in. This will improve money velocity which has been affected by that stupid excise duty. If locals can send KES 100 at 1% fee, we have KES 100 circulating many more times in the econ than at present. This is the best thing that can happen to the econ as the money velocity spikes. CBK should be working out ways on how to leverage the mobi money phenomenon.

And the share price is responding to innovation news,my feeling is that should kcb report slower growth than equity, the share prices will meet at some point.

Member has traded more orders than mpesa bank today. Usually mpesa bank has 150 - 300 orders/day, but not member (average of 50/day)... Currently member has traded 279 while mpesa bank is at 276.

Is the herd chasing member?

The rally seems to have hit some hard rocks at 36bob.

Share still very bullish.

No resistance at 36 (look at the splits and volume)

SUPPLY AT 36=595,000 splits 52

The share just taking a breather just like safcom now at 13,EABL recently at 275-280 and KCB at 46-47.

It is called testing for supply.Acceleration then slight drop to see whether supply will build at the resistance point (in this case it is only 535K and not > 1.5 M)

For confirmation, check the trade volumes on pullback.

The price spread is also less 35-35.25

If huge=bad,if less=good (means supply is not huge)

Initial 52 splits reduced to 30.Means some sellers edged out at 35.50-25.75

Note the thin supply past 36
