Hello wazua, I am asking on behalf of a friend. What do you guys do for fun? I..err...my friend finds himself with a lot of free time thanks to a job switch and he would like to know what he can do with it. He is specifically keen on fun activities that will contribute towards self development/ a good time/making money or even just make him get laid more.

How I spend my free time from work:
1. Recite the Quran and read the Hadiths
2. Take some few hours to talk to my fellow Muslims (and Christian friends)
3. Ride my three-speed-ralleigh-bicycle with my younger boys (though I get enough exercise in the farm)
4. Practice arrow shooting with my boys in the backyard
5. Take my wife & girls for swimming in women only swimming pool (you can ask me which ones if you're interested), boys and myself to a general pool
6. Read books, research tooic of interest or write a book or type posts on Wazua and other social-media
7. Sit in the mosque and talk with my fellow wazees
8. Sometimes go for fishing in a gear by river with my boys

NB: my boys = my sons

I spend all my time infront of a screen except when I am running or eating (even then I can have a screen or two). I move seamlessly from work to hobby both of which are pleasurable to me. I read widely when in non-work mode! I facebook, wazua, read the nation, techcrunch then back to facebook then wazua... over and over until I get back to work mode.
I try to use the time in commute when i cannot use my screens to read a physical book! so technically I spend more than 16 hours infront of screens!
