Eurobond 8% plus vs syndicate loan taken @6%. No brainer math. Eurobond is quite expensive and USD liquidity tightness will continue with the Fed tapering. Not a good deal this eurobond for now.

Next stop 14.20-14.50

EABL warming up to break the 280 resistance

EABL...280 taken and supply side thin.Next stop beyond 300

Hisah..av a look at EABL

Very interesting.

VWAP has broken above 280 and closed @282 with a high of 291. Also the vol spikes have been plenty in supporting the 220 base.

So mpesa has moved, EABL is moving. The other two (simba and member) are they next? All four need to move hard to crash the 5100 - 5200 solid resistance zone.

Equity has moved..EABL is moving, safcom has moved. Can say anything about the 10M volume exchange yesterday with a 99% foreign participation.

Co-op bank is currently breaking the 21 resistance level..FINALLY

Kenya re is also poised to break the 20 resistance!

We need to toss for the breakout above 5100smile smile smile smile smile smile

@metaspoilt - I didn't check KCB's vol yesterday. @mweke did you spot the participation make up on foreign trades?

Was a good turnover record of Kes. 428.5M. Foreign Buys 89.8%, Foreign Sales 0.0%. But today the big boys seem to have taken an early easter

On what volume?
Notice only 1 trade of 100 shares. Perfect case of market making.
Buy it only if you know who is buying/selling and the reasons behind. Otherwise, one might be left holding monkeys.

Share traded less than 8000 shares from 14th April to date apart from a 135K sell volume on 13th April

On this volumes,is it really important to know who buys or sell ?

Its becoming very hard to decide on what to sell or hold in this market where some counters are at tempting selling levels...nobody knows how much room on top.

Post #4691 had the image below which was hinting bulls were struggling to keep up the upward pressure on FTSE KE NSE15 index as EABL, KCB and EQTY struggled - http://www.wazua.co.ke/f...amp;m=516420#post516420

In Q2 2014, the bulls are taking over after a subdued Q1 with EABL rebounding strongly after finding strong support @220 while KCB and EQTY regain upward momentum as they break all time highs.

Interesting to note that this is happening while KES is struggling in the FX corner against the major global currencies.

Have we seen the end of volality? KES is weak, NSE20 still struggling with 5000-5200 zone. Eurobond? National budget?

CFC has a long way to go. Hold on smile If you are tempted now, I wonder what you'll do by the time the price is above 200... d'oh!

@hisah,according to your signature, who is receiving much beating, the bull or the bear????any company which slips in q1 will receive a beating.look at hfck which was heading to 40s struggling to reclaim its earlier price with a 1 bob div in place.
