Now about direct instructions, when He sent out his disciples He expressely told them not to carry anything, not even bread. Nowadays, 'men of god' carry whole bakeries with them as it were. No sandals or staff only, they go with magari and not just magari but magari za nguvu. Money, well! Now about Elijah that will require a whole exposition and if you are willing we can have it. To tie in with Kysse contribution about Lazarus, He gave the elaborate reason why He raised up Lazarus and there is no need to second guess or to ask why. Oh, and He raised up the widows son too and Jairus daughter! And at His death, graves were opened and 'many' bodies arose. And if it is really about following Gods commands, I could mention a couple of commands believers want nothing to do with. Kysse, was there anyone with an affliction that went to Jesus or was in the vicinity of Jesus and for some reason he did not, or failed to heal them? He didnt heal them all? About prophets being accepted in his own country, there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one: To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God. Presidents, prime ministers, governors, wazuans, plebeians all and sundry are all in agreement that Owour has the great power of God, just like they thought of Simon Magus. lol.

Let me put a twist to this by laying a foundation.
Here is some information about Saul alias Paul: From Grolier Encyclopedia 1996

Paul is actually an unknown character. There is no history of a man called Paul or Saul. Nobody can actually confirm who Paul was. Nobody has actually identified Paul or Saul for that matter. We don’t even know his full name. Therefore, we do not know whether Paul was an actual person or simply a fictitious character in a story like Harry Porter written by an unknown author who takes on the name Paul.
For example:
Harry Porter was written by J.K. Rowling. If J.K. Rowling took on the name Harry Porter, we would never have known who the author was, and we would assume that Harry Porter was an actual person writing his own story.

My bad. On the first blue, who demanded the release of the criminal in place of Jesus before Pontius washed his hands? Were those not the masses? Were the people asking John the Baptist whether JC was the one prophesied or if they were to wait for the real one? JC had His people, but they were the minority. Reason why he was cruxified without much opposition. About the second blue,i don't need a "whole exposition", just a name is all i ask. A NAME!
