One game at a time, Arsenal just needs to go past Wigan in the Semis. Then we are good to go.

I smell trophy number one for the Mighty Arsenal

I totally agree the team needs to remain focused, we are favorites to win FA cup but we are not yet through to the finals.....there should be no room for complacency. Wenger has already indicated that the FA Cup is a priority, i wouldn't mind 3rd or 4th place finish in the league as long as we win something.

So now the league and UCL aren't realistic priorities anymore?

Arsenal fans were shouting all over at the beginning of the season how this year would be their year. Especially after signing Mr. Özil Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

Arsenal can't mess up this surely or can they ? Memories of 2011 Carling cup defeat to Birmingham still fresh. No Koscielny and Schesny in the final please.

We are still in the title race but i think the FA cup is more realistic. I doubt there's any Arsenal fan here who thought we would win the CL this season, even if we miraculously beat Bayern i don't think we would get past Real Madrid, Barca and PSG. Winning the FA Cup would be big for Arsenal, there would be no more talk of our trophy drought (reduces the pressure on the players) and it would give the team a winning mentality.

It looks like all Ozil needed was a rest, he was outstanding against Everton.....his link up play with Ox and Carzola was sublime. He also had a good game during Germany's friendly against Chile.

Arsenal fans will get a chance to see Kallstrom in action soon, he's started training with the rest of the squad. Ramsey is also back from injury, should be available against Spurs.

Did I say that this is the worst Arsenal side I have ever watched? No pace, no power, no entertainment, no drive ....nothing! And Sanogo should be playing for Watford because he is useless!

Oh please, It wasn't really an inspiring performance from Arsenal but i totally disagree with you in terms of quality of the squad, look at our midfield.....no Wilshere, Ozil, Rosicky & Flamini. We only had the inconsistent Carzola, unfit Ramsey and injured Ox tonight yet we performed better than Man City at home.

I told you, without Ozil Arsenal will struggle....before he got injured he had created more goal scoring chances than any midfielder in Europe's major leagues.....thats the only reason why i think we need a quality striker to convert those chances. Its ridiculous of you to claim that Arsenal didnt need a player of Ozil's quality. What we need is to be creative in midfield and clinical at the front. Look at Chelsea, Torres and Eto'o are their weakest links but they are still challenging for CL and EPL. I wouldnt mind if we got another creative midfielder, thats where games are won.

Btw i really doubt you've been an Arsenal fan for long, stop being an opportunist who waits for bad spells, you sound like a hater. You are the same person who claimed they performed better without Ozil yet stats show otherwise...smh! The English press always make a point of exaggerating anything Arsenal especially negative stuff

FACT: This was probably the weakest squad they've had to field. Well done Arsenal, as Chelsea and other top teams have proven, at times you need a bit of luck to succeed.

@TAZ. I have supported since the days of Steve Bould. Were you born yet? Am a realist and tired of FALSE hopes and Wenger lies.I have been consistent with my comments that the squad was weak. You initially came out strongly that Arsenal did not need a Striker because Podolski and Walcott could fit in! The injuries are because the players were over-played e.g needlessly against Coventry. And yes Ozil was a luxury and Arteta and Flamini should be anywhere near a top team.

When Walcott got injured i said Wenger needed to invest in another striker to cover for Giroud. Arsenal need Ozil because without him there's simply no creativity in the midfield and ive already given you stats to prove that....yako ni pang'ang'a tu ya kujifanya realist. If you've been a fan for that long i'd expect you to give me facts to support your claims not repeating what the biased media write about Arsenal.

Its a bit ridiculous of you to claim that some players should not have been used against Coventry, what makes you think we would have won without them. Last season Wenger rested players against Blackburn which turned out to be a mistake at the end of the match. At this point i don't care how we play, we simply need to win this Cup.

Anyway i don't mean to be too hard on you, i just think that this season Arsenal have shown massive improvement in the league and FA cup. Who knows where we would have been were it not for the injuries.....the least we deserve is a trophy.

For some English press, pundits and fans like kaka2za nothing that Arsenal do will ever be enough. They will always get something to criticize.

Examples
Arsenal win a very important match that may finally lead to them ending their long trophy drought.

Arsenal lose to some team 1 nil despite playing very well

and so on and so on....

@bkismat Dont confuse support with sycophancy. I believe this should have been Arsenal 's year to win EPL
EPL were it not for failure to use 140m pounds to strengthen the squad. About super teams, my second choice is Newcastle. I don't anybody a reason for supporting any team.
