Just drove from Mombasa today and noticed the upgrade of the national Grid from Mackinnon road all the way to Mariakani and possibly to Mombasa.

Is cables the one supplying the waya given that they are the exclusive distributers of high voltage wayas RINK

The sale didn't make sense, but it now does-TC never had any intention of selling up, but found itself having to sell. Never show your cards till the deal is done.
Investors should troop out till it's clear how TC will recover its position

Freikz- TC seems to be unaware of game theory, but in simple terms, they seem to have left themselves with no time for a white knight or didn't have the cash

I have always maintained for a heavily capitalised company RVR provides a lot of potential for growth.....just thinking of the imports/containers coming into the port of Mombasa transported by road due to lack of other means. And rail would be cheaper!!
Maybe TCL couldn't handle the heat and got ''shoved'' out of the kitchen i.e. don't have the cash.....
