Kwani they are buying the dreamliners like zinakwisha kwa stock. I am surprised that KQ doesn't have even a single airbus on it's fleet, despite our historical ties with Europe. They have always chosen the American Boeings instead of the European airbus.

Behold the pilot

"This is your Captain Ouru speaking......we will be cruising at 35,000 feet at a speed of 500 knots.....the weather outlook looks ok, the conditions in Paris are mild with temperatures at 21 degrees, winds at 5knots SE, enjoy your flight".....I have never understood why the pilot's address sound system is always so poor in an era where we have 5.1 dolby hifi sound system.

That said, that cockpit doesn't look very hitech for a plane that's touted as being the most advanced in the world .......ama it's digital and one can switch/swipe between different "windows" and thus the fewer knobs and gizmos?

Which route is KQ planning to deploy this one?

Paris

Paris? That is odd. Kenyans do that much business with France?
A 737 can do this route. A 767 or 777. Putting the 787 on this is like asking a cardiac surgeon to treat malaria as his everyday job Sad
I thought KQ got this beast to open a nonstop route to North America, give Ethiopian some compe and cut out the necessity of
Linking via Dubai or Europe? That would even make Nairobi the connector to America for subsaharan Africa
