It's the same plane but the flight from US was assigned code KQ A787.

Apparently it is holding at the end of the runway awaiting PORK so that it can taxi to the terminal and be officially received.

This I object. When the 777-300ER arrived PORK went to receive it.
Now this Shame on you It is just a plane and KQ is a private company...I think Ethiopian have been flying one here so the plane is not a new phenomenon as such..The Monister of Transport should have sufficed
May be if Boeing had chosen KQ as the launch customer, it would have been an event worth the gravitas of a president.
