Recalling the Kirima and Ritho sagas, Kenyan 'dynasties' ziko na chida. From reading the piece on substandard, it seems that the PS wants the lion's share whilst the other part of the family wants equal distribution.

Don't know the full details of the story but was wondering if the CJ left a will...na alisema nini ndani yake...

@jaggernaut, its a really sad story. That even when parents have given their kids the best education and the kids' careers take off, they will still come back to fight over family property.

I thank God my folks were dirt broke.

From Tuskys, Naivas, Kirima, the doctor who buried his mom secretly........ The list is endless.

I have only heard of one really successful handover of wealth and that is the family of Philip Ndegwa. The kids have actually grown the wealth exponentially after their old man left. If they could be kind enough to share the secret formula.

The Muli family is an illustration of how the big names have remained in power even after the exit of their fathers. Nduva is former Railways MD and now Transport Ps. Agnes is a court of appeal judge. She is married to former DPP Philip Murgor, son of a Moi era Minister. Nduva's wife is vice chair of Commission for Constitution Implementation. Opportunity? Good educaton? Networks?Perhaps
