This week I took a flight to Eldoret for a three day work. I booked a room in one of the hotels that is enroute town. The room that I was booked into was on second floor left wing. The room was adjacent to another but fairly secluded at the far end. The Hotel had the ambience and the necessary environment for resting after work.

Day 1, I enjoyed the hospitality of the Hotel and everything was rolling on well.

Day 2, after the day's activities I rested as usual. I switched on the TV to watch the Chelsea Champions league game. Mid second half, My neighbour in the adjacent room- made his way to his room. There was a conversation at the corridor. I did not bother as I was glued to screen watching the game.

A few minutes- there was some commotion in that room. I never bothered. After some minutes I heard a cry, then a depressed scream. It then escalated.Due to the nature of the rooms it was not very audible.

After the game, I slept. In middle of the night I was awoken up, this time by an accelerating cry and commotion. At first, I thought it was a dream but the movements persisted. The movements appeared to make some regular oscillations. Occassionally the wall would suffer some hits- I stretched my hand and picked my phone..it was 3.30am. The noise continued for some time,a long time. Then the sleep got a hold on me, then Morning alarm

Day 3..everything went on well. The night was peaceful, My neighbour most likely he had left. Next time I might be forced to book even the neighboring rooms-Just in case.

@mkwasi...did that performance put your skills to shame? Waswahili husema kwamba yule hajatembea hufikiria mama yake ndiye anajua kupika. Now you better... now you know better. Now when you get home do the same...forget that you are digging your farm with a traditional plough and start imagining that you are using a multi purpose massey ferguson...you will be amazed vile utaamsha nyumba kumi pia...
