I had this discussion with colleagues around the time censuus results were released. They all said the census could have been correct but the problem is that most men are unmarriageable eg drunkards, drug addicts, homo binyavangis, robbers na ghadhaliga

In the economics of a third world country that is largely socialised to believe men exist to provide, gender bias to crime and alternate coping strategies with poverty at the root is reflective.

Significant differences in gender population comparatives may have/do exist in cultures that regard male life superior to that of a female at birth, the opposite problem to the global illusion of higher female populations.

@yoursmile, both your elders (7:1) and your research (must be google or wikipedia) are right. Why????

Your elders knew to well that not all males end up been men. Also, almost all females end up been women. Thats why! e.g. Binyavangaic race.

So, the research you did was for Females vs Males, and you were right. The facts that your elders introduced to you were for Women vs Men.

Tuko pamoja sasa?

Nice analysis ,Dunkang.

@Lolest, now that is the point - unmarriageable period. As a sociological problem of Third world countries that aped or adapted "Westernism" and the raising power of education to girls have distorted hitherto realities of marriage.

In an age where there are a significant number of females with economic "power" hitherto unbeknown to society, their choice of "Mr. Right" is wrought with challenges that are new to all, hence the illusion that the ratio is skewed to favour men.
