That is why you are not seeing so many Axios around. You are much better of with a 1.8 L Allion. Cheaper and in my opinion better. space wise, parts etc. Thanks @ prime. That amount is way too high..it should be for importing a Mercedes/BMW/Audi..anyway 've been informed that the Fielder Axio model would cost me about 280K. Thus my question...how does KRA come up with this CRSP. These two cars are similar in almost everything (cc, engine, transmission etc) other than the shape (saloon/wagon)..but the duty for the fielder axio is almost double for the corolla axio??? Yes total tax comes to 280 but you havent included the IDF, Railway devt fund and registartion, all of which combined will cost you 304,176 which is what you will pay to customs. Then add the clearance charges i.e. Port charges, Delivery Order, Radiation, Agency, Maritime surcharge levy, Insurance, fuel etc. Total cost to clear that car plus duty will get to about 350k. Fanya hesabu. Do you import for guys?
