what is your version or the islamic teaching on revenge...
Is revenge allowed? If it is how is it executed?

"Fight in the Way of God against those who fight you, but do not go beyond the limits. God does not love those who go beyond the limits." {Quran 2:190]

"Let there be no hostility except to those who practice oppression." [Quran 2:193]

"To those against whom war is made, permission is given (to fight), because they are wronged;- and verily, Allah is most powerful for their aid; "
[Quran 22:39]

the repayment for an injury is an injury equal therto in degree: but if a person forgives and makes reconcilation, his reward is due from God: for God loves not those who do wrong.

Wah...@guru surely, aren't those very tough rules? Now suppose the police decides to follow them strictly on the context of terrorists, who have been oppressing peace loving Kenyans, and injuring them without remorse, don't you then agree Mombasa county commissioner was right in saying they should be shot on sight?smile

Fighting ideology with ideology could be releasing a herd of pigs or dropping carcasses of dogs in those extremists infested mosques on the dawn of a Friday

ApplauseThis and such ideas are welcome.Set up a pigsty at the site of Masjid Musa mosque.

Hehehe

Many people in history against Islam have known better than to attack Muslims and their Holy places.. You extremists better learn something from them!

I dare you to take your pigs and carcasses to the Masjid and Let's see how your trinity, statues, shrines and crosses will fair against the ONE GOD and his angels!

Yes the commissioner may be right but the question is who started the oppression??

This all began with the invasion of Somalia by Ethiopia sanctioned by the US to crush the Islamic courts that had began to re stabilize Somalia after decades of war...

Many Somalis viewed this as a direct attack on Islam... If you add the innocent Somali women and children that they claim die on a daily basis then this is why they and Makaburi have a certain opinion!

By invading Somalia Bush got the Al Qaeda presence he was wishing for! Sad

Has anyone here ever stopped to wonder if one of these crazed terrorists might have once been an innocent teenager who had his whole family killed at the hands of a Kenyan jet fighter??

Wouldn't this teenager feel much worse than you are feeling about the churches you do not even attend??

Its time for dialogue!

So when did this become a one sided issue?? Do you want me to also go and take a picture with baby Satrine before you see that I sympathize!

That's why since 1948 only one side's voice is heard and the other side is bombed, invaded and tortured to silence?!

Only problem is that they don't stay silent!
