Medical Insurance for the over 60yrs in age

Its very expensive to procure a medical cover for those over 55 years. My advice......do the following;
1. enroll them with NHIF
2. set aside at least KSH300,000 for a rainy day(in case of admission)
3.ensure they go for annual medical check ups...so as to arrest/diagnose medical problems early

NHIF is a basic social scheme for in patient cover only. It covers almost all ailments but up to limits. For example, in each hospital there is a limit, a rebate they pay per day. it ranges between 800-2,500.

I think the cover the cover in garment hospitals is comprehensive!!!

True. NHIF COVERS EVERYTHING IN GOK hospitals as long as you are upto date in your subscription. They pay bed only in private hospitals.

Am interested in putting my parents on a medical Cover .Is there an insurance from that covers pple above those ages . Which one covers highest Age bracket and what are the exact figures

'The maximum entry age for this policy for both principal and spouse is 75 years.'

Linda jamii is the Best....I have insured my parents who are 60+ the beuty of Linda Jamii you can use in like all missionary hospitals.
