Many have talked a lot of accusations. I have in many, many times here in Wazua clarified my position in criminal or terrorist acts. And I have elaborated the issue with Media and Islam. The main thing to blame is the media. What does the media do, they pick a black-sheep of community and portray that as Muslims. What you see in the media is not what actually happening.
In Quran Sura Maidah chapter 5:32: If anyone kills any other human being (whether Muslim or non-Muslim), unless it is for murder or for spreading corruption in the land, it is as though he has killed the whole of humanity

So killing any innocent human being is a sin in Islam. It is totally prohibited.

And every time I condemn. We have Muslim organizations, they condemn it. You see me condemning what happens in terror cases we have seen where people are killed. We did it? I don't know! I'm not saying Muslim did it! It's the media who are saying. And there is no proof at all. But whoever did it, we can only speculate; maybe it is the government, may be it is not... I don't know who did it.

Whoever did it, killing innocent human being is to be condemned.

It's amazing how learned people in Wazua can spread hate in this manner! And I go away for a while, and my name gets discussed!

I think people of the level of Wazua should be more sensitive. The whole issue may be intended to divide people. When did this become a religious issue. It is about rule of law and treating a criminal as a criminal.

As we speak the Police are treating this Likoni attack as criminal act and not a terrorist attack. Nobody has claimed responsibility, so suspects can be anyone even the same government themselves!

Let's not turn our country into a religious war-zone.

Tell that to the attackers who attack churches not peace loving christians!!!!!

@Mawinder, DITTO the problem cannot be solved when we cloud our minds with denial: The manner of execution of the act is not CRIMINAL it is TERRORISM. The motive is to spread fear and terror so as to gain propaganda and heavenly reward. TERRORISM is not ordinary criminality it is aimed at mass destruction for no profit to the perpetrators hence SHOULD NOT be classified as a common criminal act.

Can't be put any better!!!

Had they stolen anything I would understand but killing people in a church and stealing nothing and some say it is ordinary criminals and not religious war,I wonder why the goggles in such circumstances.

It's so sad, some people have lost very close relatives, a kid has lost his mom and have to mourn with a bullet in his head, some people hospitalized......halafu wengine wanakuja hapa eti negeotiate, these normal criminals blah blah blah...total crap!!!!

@Alma, your arguments are good for persons who can sit and reason with you, I mean reasonable persons only. Persons who commit such acts of terror do not belong in this category hence its futile to take your arguments to them.

The philosophical basis of Wahabist terrorism ideology is extremist in nature. Logically then only an equally extremist response to the same will work to neutralize the terrorists. Now the example of how successful Guantanamo was in revealing the hideouts of Osama cannot be gainsaid. Without torturing the captives no valuable info could have led to the ultimate capture of Bin Ladin. The "smoking out" of the Al Qaeda networks in the Torabora mountains of Afganistan and Pakistan was critical in disabling the AQ infrastructure and networks.

Ruthless reaction is what I advocate to firmly rescue this Motherland from the grip of terrorism and its consequent implication on our economy. The very survival of the state is at stake, terrorism is an urgent concern to national security now more than ever before. We give them an inch (read Westgate and all attacks) and they come for more.

You are on roll today. This is the second rumour you are spreading today

The first was that Gor Mahia is a religion.

This second one is implying that those seeking moderation feel nothing for the victims.

Shame on you Shame on you

The guilty are normally afraid and resort to putting words in others mouths, of cause it's a fact that 113 comments later you have said nothing about the victims!!!!

@Mc I didn't see you say anything about the people killed in Iraq, the thousand people killed in Palestine. We should be fair. I call this white-collar terrorism.

Excellent!!!

How many times have you told us how and why 'christians' spread 'corruption' (in the land).

Anyone else, except practising sunni muslims, is corrupt, lost, in need of conversion. Killing them is no big deal. So says koran - in so many words.

@McR, a tear dropped when I heard the poor kid call "mama" on TV jana. This should be enough to call for the prompt and painful death of the perpetrators, the kind they administer in Saudia not our so called "reformed judiciary" without emotional connection to the real world.

I liked the Macharia Gaitho article in the Nation today but would not mind the use of extra judicial means to dispatch these infidels.

I'm not trying to belittle the Likoni incident, or the suffering the affected and their families go through, or the child with bullet in the body. But we need to be fair. I have condemned these kinds of acts severally. I condemned all the people killed in Iraq, the thousand people killed in Palestine. You what they are doing? They are sending missiles, they are sending bombs. And the Palestinians are throwing stones, and they call them terrorists.

The Americans are sending cluster bombs. When cluster bomb explodes, it breaks up into many bombs and kill thousand of Afghanise. For what? It is a coward act.

The biggest terrorist is GB. No one has killed many as GB has killed. And now he is no longer there. In Iraq, he put a sanction in medicine and half a million children were killed in Iraq.

Even if I agree that one person was killed for hiding there, there is no proof bin Laden did it. Even if he did it, imagine for one man, you are killing thousand of people, it is absurd.
