.

@Pound..., agreed but its vital that we separate strategic issues from tactical issues.
At tactical level equal force should be applied at the minimum in dealing with these militants.

At policy and political level, we must call it for what it is NOT CRIMINAL but terrorism. The death of one citizen in the hands of terrorists should invoke enough anger to warrant calls for death to the terrorists. Lakini as currently constituted the legal framework is inadequate besides the "human rights" gang has a blurred illusion that terrorism can be fought by legal means.

Just spoken to a guy who lives in Likoni. He says it was more than 10 people who died.
....above all, to stand.

.....10 innocent people, you see,its not a problem until its in upmarket Kenya.
what if it happened in one of the main churches in Nairobi? we would see a press conference bal bla...

....whats annoying is the measures being taken by GOK are not working because the trend is not changing

....but being angry at what happened is being twisted here to look like intolerance,we must be allowed to get angry.......to get a solution to churches being attacked

Not surprising when a guy walks into a church full of worshippers and sprays bullets. In fact his mission failed to a large extent (with a lot of respect to those who lost their lives). He was capable of felling hundreds.
Lord, thank you!

Force will be part of the mix. Seriously heavy force and a daggle a nice carrot. Someone will at some point consider the options and decide the carrot looks better

......Kenya needs to adopt tougher anti-terror laws, makaburi et al talking trash should be rotting in kodiaga.
...but matters security here must be addressed, when i see someone on tv saying we are increasing patrols,we are gathering intelligence,we are more vigilant bla bla bla.....thats Kenyan police for you with zero achievement,no one is ever held responsible,no one is sacked, heads never roll, all excuses and blame games start.

....Kenya needs to treat Somalia like the Us does to Mexico.....border patrol and everyone should be a suspect, hate it or like it ,but its time to have illegal aliens rounded up and shipped out.
...did you notice how many illegal aliens were arrested immediately after westgate? ,...then it all went back to business as usual.

..ask yourself, how easy is it to acquire a gun in Kenya if all thugs have them? where is the intelligence ? how is it possible to smuggle them day in day out?
no arrests,no prevention, just reacting to problems ,someone tell it to the duo that honeymoon time is over,we need action

Very good post. People like Makaburi should be arrested. I am sure we can find a reason.
But then again, human rights groups ( useless people ) will make sure that this doesn't happen.

Sad state of affairs
