Siringi..I have no problem with keeping distance I always do. This was an accident compounded by the fact that there are holes that have been created on the road and road users suddenly come to a halt even if you keep your distance it is very difficult to successfully halt the vehicle even while doing the 50km/h required.
Yes I admit I rammed into the vehicle but why would the police conclude immediately? I thought they would investigate why the other vehicle came to a halt instantly narrow down to the potholes and alert the construction company to put signs alerting other drivers of the construction taking place.

you keep a safe distance such that if the vehicle in front suddenly stops (coz of a pothole or a naked lion on the road etc) then you would be able to stop safely. of course the higher the speed the greater the distance you ought to keep. and instead of taking responsibily you blame the police for your bad driving.

When you rear ends someone in driving you are guilty till proven innocent. So according to me the policeman is right.
