The said "salts" are quite common places in forests near water places,arid and semi-arid areas.....Years back,it was common to go herding and encounter other wild herbivorous (Mostly elephants and buffalos) sharing the licking places with goats and sheep.The name for such places in my lugha is "Munyu".....and so it's true,goats from this area and given that they feed on lots of herbs,have more healthier and tastier meat than the Nairobi goats.
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

Does this meat ever get to nbo?
I used to think that kitengela had the best goat meat in nbo.

Anyone noticed a diff in the taste of meat,loaf and soda whenever they visit shags? maybe not all shags. As in,one can eat unsliced bread without BB in shags and it tastes just fine, but try that in nbo and it's like eating sandpaper.
The meat is also more flavoured and so is Soda.

Not sure if we are referring to the same stuff but the difference is in the quality of water, so I was told.

Yes we are talking of the same things; difference in quality and tastes of products and services in rural and urban places
