Of all i have asked they must have been telling lies. And their lies can make one live homeless forever. I'm used to asking fundis about the costing of either a house in a photo or the actual house on the ground. Mostly they tell double the cost. About the one posted in this forum 12-15m i heard and one fundi was certain. Is it pennystocker taking wazuans for a ride or fundis donoh...?

@justKiwi...my original fundi had quoted me around 12m .... Each unit at 3m. This included his labor of about 2 m. I didn't believe him and I never gave him the job. I also tendered my project in phases...ie slab, walling, upper floor slab etc. Also, Nairobi is abut expensive compared to Kisumu. My advise, engage professionals like QS, engineers et al. Fundis are craftsmen not engineers, not ! I learned that the hard way!
