Yep. Tuesday cratered a lot of yen bears. Still holding half on the GBPJPY short with SL at breakeven.

Currently tracking NFP and since most indices have rallied before this event, I expect the steam to be erased by end of next week. I'll stay on the sidelines today and wait for that spike rally and look for selling levels for next week. The rallies are still creaking. Just huffing and puffing to nowhere. Feb is still a sell side month.

NFP figures disappoint and the USD gets a nice shavesmile
Looked for a trading signal, got one,and bailed before the sharks stopped bysmile
All gains it(USD) had made on further taper by Fed Wed last week erased.

I continue to remain bullish on gold this year as well as the yen. For when the markets set in the top (risky assets selloff hard), the above will rally in the process.

GBPJPY is still my fancied trade. Trade it with caution since it has a habit of chopping wildly just like a beast...

Gold has already surpassed 1280 and on course to test 1300 which means bulls are taking the wheel. Bulls targets are 1350 and 1430 (sept 2013 high). Beyond those levels, bears will start sweating...

When the chings take over the futures markets, the western world will be... The signal appeared here - http://www.reuters.com/a...0FI0ZE20130712?irpc=932

Already silver is doing wonders this month. I expect gold/silver to rally hard as the east takes over!

Up next is crude oil. If the east grabs it too, price will dip.

The best show has began. Now they'll understand why the chingman was hoarding rare earth metal etc.

This USD hegemony aka petrodollar...

Let the defaults begin smile And they'll be plenty globally maybe till 2016...!

Just a world of caution...

In my small trading world I have come to dread Feb - Apr global equity rallies on the major marts especially when trying to reclaim multi yr highs or all time highs. A selloff always ensues suddenly and the selloff skids to 15% or overshoots to 20% at times with the year ending negative...

Hii mafuta inunuliwe. Couldnt resist the opportunity to go long as the market digests the Ukraine situation. Btw, if anyone is looking for training on trading within Nairobi, I wouldn't turn down an opportunity to raise more capital, just not into managing funds. Email me traderfx990@gmail.com

EUR/USD has finally traded the 1 year resistance of 1.38, time for a pullback? Breakout may mean 1.45 as the next big target.

Russia CB raises interest rates by 150 basis points......MICEX now down 10% for the day. Week ahead has RBA, BOC, BOE and ECB meetings while the situation in Ukraine looks to be escalating.....watching commodities very closely.

@hisah thanks for the caution of a possible 15% - 20% sell off in the markets especially after the record highs. How long have you been trading if i may ask?
You dont have to be great to START but you have to start to be GREAT!!!!!!!!

Short GBPJPY initiated during Asia session @169.90 with an open objective for now. I still expect this thing to test 162. Yen is growing legs as per yen futures positioning.

@aluta - just seen ur query. Been trading live since 2004. By Apr it'll be a decade in this crazy markets! At least up to 2008 fundies were somewhat usable, but post GFC the casino lost itself. We must be all mad to participate in this madness arena!

Still sitting in this trade tho the market spiked to 173. SL fixed at 500pips as the beast chops wildly as usual. I'll still stick to long yen in 2014...

My observations are getting hit rapidly: -

- All time highs global stocks as the party continues.
- gold has sprinted and tested $1350
- defaults have started in chingland - Chaori Solar default.

Next shows: -
- yuan-dollar rate spikes to 6.20 - 6.50. Was a spectacular one-way street trade from 7.50. A lot of corp bonds will fry properly as yuan takes it in the chin.

Shows that have delayed: -

-euroswiss peg break down @1.20.
- US 10yr note rate spike above 3%.

If chingland defaults balloon, copper price will fall off the cliff! Large vol on the sell side since 2013.

When a CB is caught up in FX rigging stickiness, then you know SHTF (sh** hits the fan). Thus my GBP selling attraction of late.
