This question has been asked many times in the last few weeks....are you the same person asking it?

Are you taking some exam on stock trading?

'Books closed' means that no changes can be made in the register during those days.

Therefore,if you buy during the closure period,your name will only be registered after the books are opened.

Therefore you DO NOT get any div or bonus

It's that simple.

PS: 'both days inclusive' means from 5pm on 11th to 5pm on the 19th....i.e. register opens at 8am on20th
