These two phones are almost the same. Check out the differences in the link below,I have pulled the differences and similarities on one page for ease of reference. Please note for E63 u shall need to buy a cable independently,it doesnt come with one. There is a price diff of abt 10k,E71 being on the higher side. Subject to the actual features you might be looking for,E63 is Ok if cost is the main consideration. You can obviously get a GENUINE cable at less than 10K. However,E71 has a better camera than E63. Both are 3G. Read more:

got a E63 4 months ago. its doing fantastic job for me. Bought a memory with 2GB. plays music nice. if you are tech savvy guy you connect to your comp and you can read messages on comp make calls and much more. You can connect to some OVI files and access them on your comp wherever you are,but still i wish i got E71 since it has more capabilities than E61. But still at this age why not get the blackberry though ladies hate it with passion!

life is an endless adventure

@bamkubwa

Blackberry is not king of all phones. it is just considered prestigious to have one and its mail capabilities are impecable.

the Nokia E Series is by far superior to the Blackberry in terms of features that come with it. you can also access your corporate and other POP/IMAP/OWA mails on the devices without having to subscribe.

issue with Blackberry is that you have to pay a montly subscription for it to enjoy services on it (excluding voice services).

blackberry also sucks your personal life out of you coz mails follow you wherever you are. its irritating to be sitting in a bar with friends on a friday evening and none of them is conversing and instead have their eyes glued to the Blackberry screens either replying to mail or chatting. no wonder its called Crackberry.

Did you know that Canadian Civil servants are not allowed to use Blackberries???

Conclusion:

It’s a little hard to put this but… we absolutely loved the Nokia E71. It was the best S60 we’d ever used. And it still is,some would argue. There is no doubt it is the finest QWERTY device Nokia has made. Don’t bring up the E90,ok? Even though we had used a Bold prior to our Nokia E71 first review,it wasn’t until we had both devices together that we really had our mind change. This is a personal opinion here, but the BlackBerry Bold smokes the E71 out of the water in so many ways. The E71 is fine as a personal communication device, but once you enter into the realm of corporate email,or even small business, for that matter, the Bold is the reigning king, and will stay that way for a pretty long time.

An E71 is by far a more superior fone to E63 ... From the casing that is stainless steel to 3.2 mp camera and many additional functionalities

The integrated GPS is what sets the E71 apart from the rest . I am able to track my routes gusing the new google map feature which has been customized to include all class A,B and C road in kenya, streets and lanes in major town giving u an accuracy upto 10m!! I no longer use the maps

E71 anytime .......

If you got the money then you should be even be asking,E71 superior and looks sleek, only lack of enough money would make look at the E63!!!!

The chief value of money lies in the fact that one lives in a world in which it is overestimated.

Throw in the N97....

:)

Between E63 and E71 - E63 is like a stripped down version of E71. No GPS for instance, which for me is a must for a modern smart phone. For business use,I guess the E63 would be a sufficient and affordable alternative.

There's also the E75 in the market.

I've never been one for blackberry so I cannot comment on that.
