CFC Bank!! How can money disappear overnight

Today decided instinctively to check my account balance in my cfc savings account. A whole 57k is missing!
Cfc have a lot of explaining to do

I use their online trading platform and every time I make deposits in the CDS account I have to send a scanned copy of the slip to SBG Securities. They pride on having internet baking and OST yet I can not transfer(online) from my bank account to the CDS account. Their reason; those are two different entities!!

What are the chances of having this issue resolved? Must one present copies of all deposit and withdrawal slips as proof? I'm really stressed out at the moment

Yes present all the paper work these bankers have become thieves i noticed money was missing in my barclays account. Walirudisha and some people were fired never the less i closed the damn account. Insist on online banking, one reason i like CBA and mobile alerts

Club SK has many bankers and i know one who works for CFC maybe he should tell u how you can get sorted

And you will realise, most often than not, these errors are all brought by crappy Core Banking Systems coupled with cheeky immoral employees Sad

I also hate Cfc. I have an account and the level of customer service is almost zero. God help me.

Woke up early today and prepared myself for a fight with the bank. So I drove to one of the branches, parked outside. Since it was not yet opening time I thought I should check my balance again and voila! The missing money was back! Seriously though why do banks do such things? I'm now planning on closing that account and opening another.Can anyone recommend a good bank with no monkey business?

You need to get to the root cause of all this... ask why it happened in the 1st place?

CFC Stanbic...sometimes there is also more credited to your account than you know you have...usually happens when you check your balance late evening or weekends
