After what Jesus did to the traders in the temple I wonder what he would do to this "church"...

Why are we always trying to get God to conform to our ways instead of vice versa?? Sad

I dare you to attend a sermon, then comment on how they have conformed

Anyone can give a sermon...

The question here is whether Jesus would sit in that sermon??

If the youth feel religion is meant to be some form of entertainment like everything else in this world they should let religion be, enjoy their lives and wait patiently for the Hellfire!

Read Matthew 7:15-20 so that every practicing Christian may be clear on Mavuno and other money laundering suspects smile

..it is not about enticing people to attend church, socialize and entertain, it is for faith, worship and repentance. Church is not a product, to be packaged and marketed for appeal to fickle youth and young adults.
Shades of Grey? Eish. I saw that and immediately the infamous smut novel 50 Shades of Grey sprung to mind..I have no doubt this is the association that was meant to create
This just feels wrong. Even the pine pastor of Embu looks saintly by comparison

I don't think that this poster warrants the negative reactions and condemnation given so far. If anything, I think it's an application of what advertisers are taught to use to get customers. For example, a similar poster could be used to 'lure' youngsters to cigarette smoking or some other lifestyle product like alcohol. So why shouldn't Mavuno compete with these 'well advertised' products?

The evil some of us are seeing is basically the evil in our hearts.

Church is a product. We live in a world of products. We are always confronted with products @quicksand.

oi oi oi...didn't know the comments I saw on social media jana were about mavuno. I thought it was all about that Americann church. Whatever the content of the sermon, the pic is wrong! Are we later going to turn our churches to strip clubs to get attention from sinners? This has crossed the line!!

If Pwani Oil and Vaseline ads received criticism, how much more this one?
