A woman was allegedly raped by boda boda operators in Kisumu after getting stranded at the main bus terminus. The 20-year-old woman is reported to have arrived from Mombasa on Tuesday night and decided to wait till morning before proceeding home. A statement recorded by the victim at Kisumu Central Police Station indicated that she was stranded at the terminus after exhausting her money during the journey from Mombasa and was waiting for the dawn to withdraw some money from the mobile money transfer agents. It was at this point that a bodaboda operator approached her to inquire if he could be a client but she explained her situation. The man then told her that he could ferry her to a place in town where the agents operate on a 24 hour basis and she could be helped. The woman gave in and the bodaboda operator drove her to a thicket where six other men were waiting. The seven then raped her repeatedly before dumping her. The statement further indicated that a security guard who was reporting for work found the stranded woman and took her to his work station before she was escorted to the police station to record the statement. Police then rushed her to Kisumu East District Hospital for treatment as investigations were launched into the incident.

How these beasts decide in common plan to rape a helpless lady beats logic. Boda boda operators at least have a few cash to spend. Why not go for those who are willing to peddle their flesh to willing customers? In the streets of Kisumu they are so many at night and the late the hour the cheaper they become.

If you get to Kisumu late and would wish to use boda boda, a word of caution, do not use the one moving around looking for customers. Use the ones which are stationed at some point. They know each other and if a crime is committed it is easier to get the criminal caught.

Useless, should be castrated. There is so much cheap ready sex in Kisumo to do this is a disgrace.

These gang rapes are just to humiliate the lady!
