wow. I expected 0.75 cents. This stock is now headed to 40.00. Coz this year half year the dividend should be 0.75 0r 1.00. and fy 2014 1.00 or 1.25. Giving a dividend of 2.00. Meaning derserves to trade at 40+. By the way whats KCB's dividend again. Is it past 2.00? i dont think so.

To note. Non interest income grew 382%, what does this mean people. is this sustainable, we need to see the source of this growth in more detail

the dividend yield is 5% when you consider the .75cts for interim.

deep down i know you may be right. Me thinks this combination of FED tapering and upcoming Euro bond uncertainty is messing us up big time.

Or or. Selling of the 2 year rally. From 2012. they(foreigners) started it, when everyone was scared of elections, they can cash in and end it. then come back at soberer prices....

Please @hisah explain to me like a 5 year old. Why for the first time in almost 2 years, starting december foreigners are net sellers going to two months now.

Frontier markets like NSE lack liquidity-no one to sell to. Most of the investment for the foreigners is done through frontier market funds. If the fund holders start exiting you have to make immediate big sell offs and because of the lack of liquidity you have to do fire sale hurting the portfolio. So if the tapering picks up its better to start an early exit to avoid fire sale. Getting into frontier markets is easy but finding the exit is where the rubber meets the road
