Okay mimi iko na hiyo privilage pia.
Huko Amsterdam its timed to the minute and u can see the bus movemnet on some screen hapo kwa stage.

Huku Dubai naye ni kama Eastleigh section 3 lakini they obey the traffic lights.

Huku London iko sawa, the jam moves sio stuck kama hii ya Kenya.

Dubai is hell especially around 3-4pm when people leave jobo.
And hakuna mambo ya public buses huko, ni private au taxi, ngata ni kama 2o bob a litre.

Do you have the privilege to have travelled majuu ama you are trying to defend something you NIL idea about? Are you basing your defense on here-says from friends who transit Dubai?

That Metro train ONLY serves airport routes and it runs only two lines. Its still under expansion.

We cannot wish away private cars even if we banned all vehicles in the Nairobi CBD because not all vehicles are destined to the city center. Case in point is vehicular traffic destined to Industrial Area, schools, shopping malls, hotels, transit, airports, bus stations, railway stations, etc. In fact I dare say the latter are the majority.

Many people are "forced" to enter the CBD to access government services e.g. Immigration, AGs, KRA, ministries, etc. primary to make payments. Once we implement electronic payments some of these bottlenecks will disappear as we've witnessed with iTax.

As someone said up there the problem is road design. We need to redesign our roads so that traffic maintains a constant flow and more importantly separate vehicles from pedestrians, cyclist and other road users.

I wish to drive to Githurai, leave my car and board the train there now that Thika road has become such a mess.

Anyone knows what time it passes Githurai in the morning?

The problem is the pedestrians crossing at the Drive in area, someone should control them and let them cross in groups , hio kupita watu wawili wawili is not constructive.

That is a Nairobi-wide problem, and you should see, they slow down while crossing. Ma-sufferer mentality: blame the driving class for their stupid voting decisions...
