Can't there be such a thing as a protest that is respectful?
Is disrespect synonymous with protest or free speech?
If it was effective, where is the change?

For example: flag desecration, burning effigies are disrespectful sideshows. Pussy Riot's unifying call similarly got muddled up.

This list of top 10 history's most significant protests contains few shenanighans, just outsized focus and impact http://www.livescience.c...political-protests.html

Without protest, we would still be using dial up and Moi would be making announcements on Ngong Road...

Every generation protests differently...if I recall there were people calling Matiba disrespectful and Orgengo indecent.

I feel for the protesters, it must be very frustrating. I also feel for GoK, these little annoyances when you're so busy eating.

Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly you saying they should be left to eat/tender in peace???

What I'm saying is people need to know what's important to them. Do we defend blindly, or do we feel the protesters have a point?

At some point, everyone will realize the difference between what is right and what is convenient.

Hopefully it wont be too late for them.

I think this particular one crosses the line, going as far as openly accusing Ruto of being behind the 07/08 PEV. It also get's into Kibaki's personal relationships with his alleged wives. I think those things are uncalled for and they dilute the otherwise positive (and powerful) message that these guys have. It is such behavior that gives the government the excuse to pass repressive legislation.
