Embu county leaders led by Kivuti want Nditi to step down. There was a pact that the governor would be a Muembu with the Senator being a Mumbeere. Now since Nditi is a Mumbeere, to maintain the balance, she has to step down to allow a Muembu to take up the seat!

Rutto says the council will head to court Monday

I just hope n pray the courts don't spoil the party.

Nonsense! If ouru was impeached, can "the one man council of presidents" head to court "on Monday" to object the move? The Senate followed the katiba to the letter.

Now this:

Senate summons nine governors.

Life is like playing a violin solo in public and learning the instrument as one goes on.

Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Seriously. But maybe their hope was that the two would be sent home. Remember they were both accused just that Senate spared the deputy.

Governors need to be wise and position themselves beyond impeachment. They need to get on the good side of their people like Alfie so that the county reps work with them and fear facing the wrath of the people if they attempt to impeach. For example, it is vitally impossible to impeach the President despite the ICC case and other accusations, he's positioned himself well.

BBI will solve it

Judicial dictatorship is very rampant nowadays. These judges are the new gods in town, after the gavanas have been scared shitless.

No wonder everybody is ignoring these useless court orders. They are ruining the judiciary with their rampant hubris, same way these gavanas are out to destroy the fruits of devolution.
