Impeached for procuring 3.5 M worth of 'bad' seeds yet we are losing billions in SGR? Bloody hypocrites.

Simo, I was in Thika today... the roads within that town are full of potholes! All the same,I would be hesitant to run the governor out of town right now on that account only.

39 votes on all 3 counts now officially Wambora impeached. Now the issue will be loaded senators like Muthama pushing their governors into submission or else threatening them with impeachment. Buy out MCAs and bribe the senators as well....anyhu, the senate now looks more relevant

On the flipside though, this might make county governance better. Every gavna will be more careful even about the subordinates' actions.

People have forgotten the small issue of court order.
The guy is going nowhere as long the Mcas and the senators acted in defiance of a court order.

Yes. Senate just needed to confirm one of the three charges with at least 24 of the 47 elected senators agreeing. On all 3 counts senate voted 39 YES. He's out, Dorothy Nditi is in. I see this heading to the courts though...

Hata iende wapi its done and dusted. This gentleman Wambora is a sacrificial lamb. There are governors doing really crazy stuff and still in office. Isaac Rutto,Jackson Mandago, Amazon Kingi, Jack Ranguma and few others should follow suit

Very true. Others may disregard court orders but IEBC won't. Lets wait and see how it plays out in the courts.
