4% Net revenue growth,sales of senator declined by more than 50 percent due to excise tax,Premium beer grew by 20 percent..PBT 8.1BN from 7.8BN

EABL 44% beverage alchohol share in East Africa Community
EABL 4% H1 Net revenue Growth Senator -85% decline
Tusker 17%, Guiness 24%, Bell 16%, Serengeti 3% growth

Net finance costs 2bn remain flat due to stagnant rates, PAT 4% growth
PBT +3% to 8.1bn, Proposed Interim div 1.50

EABL is telling a very interesting tax story... The story is a consumption story. How does the tax lord benefit when it over taxes one of its cash cows? d'oh!
