Saw a farmer using a ram pump for irrigation and it was just amazing. It doesn't use any fuel.

cheap is expensive, go for quality and u wont regret.

Not necessarily. Both mercedes and toyota will give you hassle free service for many years.

ram pump yes. i assembled one but it let me down...but a proprietary one will work... whats the cost and whats the make?
