I heard this bit and started laughing, kweli pastors are gifted in talking. I thought he had already sinned the minute he looked and coveted, the mechanics wife.

I listened to the "forgiveness session" on Kameme news and the wife and kids sounded like they were under duress to forgive.

It even bordered on arrogance......The wife said "As Mrs Maina I have to forgive him..blah blah blah........in any case maji yakimwagika.....

It does not matter what others think about you...us we love uou and have forgiven you."

For me its about saving his job.

Otherwise they should have let the situation run its full course.Time heals and yes he would have been forgiven in the long run but this one of now ni yakulazimishwa.

I agree.

The chain of thoughts and actions that made the man to seek another woman has been resolved between the time he was caught and the time the press conference was called?

I'm sure that pastor has been eating that fish on several occasions and his apology won't be the last time he eats it...anajua utamu yake. That apology was total hogwash!!! Bibi and family have realized that if he loses his "job", watabaki wakikula love...sadaka is much needed to run the household.

If the family is so forgiving, then clande and her hubby should have also been invited for this public apology...

That is a hard saying. Too hard. Perhaps not necessary, even. (tounge in cheek)

Something about leaving your sacrifice and going to make peace first with the 'enemy', right?

Haai, this pastor has such a good wife and children! Nikama Hilary Clinton, when some people were rushing to expose Bill Clinton for his small private issues of being a man, the wife and family stood with him, it's for better or for worse, no need to break a (or another) family.
