If your kid has something of substance between their ears why would you need to take them to a school that asks for over 100K per term? What is it that they impart in that school that cannot be imparted in a lower cost school?

Or is it because you want to compensate for absenteeism parenting. If I cannot be there for my child's growth I would rather not have any child.

Why would you huff and puff and make all that effort to get kids then act like they do not need parents? You made them so please be there for them.

I have come to learn that the higher the fees one is paying is inversely proportional to the time spent the kid spends with the parents? In enough of those schools the kids only wish they could see their parents more. Not a trip to Japan or a bigger car but actually spend time with their parents.

A kid 16 years old instead of thinking of boyfriends or girlfriends is asking for more time with parents. We have become a very sick society.

Two things are clear for a middle class parent to take her daughter to such schools charging exorbitant fees, either the shaod is a dunder in classwork like the millionaire parents were at one point or the shaod has special needs like she could be retarded naturally.

ION: Most millionaires the world over were dunderheads in schools so don't force your shaod to live the school life you would have wish for yourself. Accept and move on.

You know you've made it when you get a parking space for your yatcht.

I fully agree, fact is that the 'cheap' schools still have pupils/students who perform extremely well, brain ni brain, can't be bought!!!....but if you can afford it the there is really no problem coz some environments make the child think differently!!!

Its a class thing, i would not hestitate taking my child to Turi or Pembroke house if for instance my employer paid for it, or i lived in Karen/runda and my neighbors took their kids to Banda, Braeburn/side and the likes, because at the end of the day, they will eb interacting with kids in this neighborhood and not from Eastlands, talk of giving your child the best, that is their best...

Phew! So one will spend Ksh 1,680,000 for the 4 years for one kid? This is more than what they are charging for a medical degree at the UoN. Woe unto you if you have 3 kids!
