The revaluation of the biological asset of sasini tea ltd to an upward trend of a massive 1336% to a loss of Sh31.5 million from a loss of Sh420.9 million in the same period helped it jump to profitability.
This is a story that will follow the other tea and coffee growers like williamson, kapchurua, eaagads, kakuzi.
Wait for these counters at their pick prices before result announcement as kakuzi and eaagads have already done so they are sell counter but williamson tea and kapchurua tea are still trailling big so they are still buy counters.

These news could not have come any sooner and better. Wait for Williamson tea in 400s.

Tea prices on the rise. I do not know about coffee.

Coffee certainly lower production in Brazil this year. This will certainly lead to higher prices.

e farmers stand to gain from a surge in price of the commodity driven by high demand in the global markets.

A standoff between coffee marketers and county governments that led to postponement of last week’s auction has built pent-up demand that saw prices of the beverage rise by 2.4 per cent in this week’s auction on Tuesday.

During the previous auction held on 14th of this month, a 50-kilogramme bag of coffee traded at Sh14,450 ($170) compared to Sh14,790 ($174) this week.

Kakuzi, are people expecting a take over ala Vipingo? The price movement does not make sense.

Not much information is available about this counter with the latest financial statements hard to come around but based on its EPS to PE quotient which is 0.149, it still looks undervalued.
