I know an IT guy who is exceptionally good in programming but if you were to interview him, You will write him off coz he doesn't know how to express himself.

I think Job interviews should be limited to the marketing, sales, customer care guys and senior positions in the organization.

What if he was the best at programming but scored a D in high school would you still give him the job.

This thread tells you something about some people's academic backgrounds. Nobody who is academically gifted would even attempt to compare an "A" and a "D" student. Watu waache mchezo. Nobody should even attempt to disguise these academic shortcomings by claiming that they sit in various interview panels.

A better argument would be that there is no guarantee that an A student will end up wealthier in life than a D student. Lakini mambo ya academics hakuna comparisons.

Like somebody has already said if you are weak academically accept and move on.

@Maichblack, say something have seen you peeping.

Applause Applause Applause Quite a number of "D" Students have ventured into business and employ a lot of "A" students as "Slaves" in their businesses.

Thats what i wanted to hear! The issue here is not just about an A and D student, its about the importance we give to KCSE grades in Kenya (though i agree mtu wa D ni ngumu kumtetea). Hata if you compare an A and a B student outcome might be the same kwa interview.

If you are not academically talented, just accept and move on.

I've sat in several interview panels and i can assure you that sometimes you get shocked ukiskie someone got an A kwa KCSE.

Our universities are all about filling their classes. So, if As', Bs' cant fill the room then....

If you stay ready, no need to get ready.
