Just how much does the consent to transfer cost and how long does it take (in days for Thika)
Is there special consent and normal consent?

The Land Control Board meets once a month. Special consent merely imply backdating of LCB minutes. Cost should be 2-7K. Consent is given or denied during the LCB meeting then you move to District lands office prepared to spend on the transfer based on valuation

Correct. Have Paid 6K a few times for areas around Thika esp Ruiru and Juja. Some of those wazees can demand upto 10K though, but rarely.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God..

I bought land (on the kiserian-Isinya rd) through a sacco, the title deed is given upon request ,Because most of the members are using the same as security for the loans. The person sub contracted to process the title deeds is charging 30k per 1/8.
How much is processing the title deeds roughly assuming the current market value is 250k per 1/8?
